Ecological Conversation & Sustainable Development
Ecological Conservation and Sustainable Development
The relationship between students and the natural environment goes beyond merely "understanding nature"; it also encompasses environmental awareness, biodiversity, conservation responsibility, and sustainable living.
Through ecological exploration, nature observation, and conservation experiences, students step out of the classroom and into real environments to learn about Hong Kong's rich natural ecology, understand the relationship between human activities and the environment, and cultivate an appreciation and respect for nature through hands-on experience.
Ecological education is not just about learning to "protect the environment"; more importantly, it helps students to see environmental problems, understand the importance of sustainable development, and transform conservation concepts into daily actions, gradually building an attitude of cherishing resources, respecting nature, and being environmentally responsible.
