┃FAQ┃

How do Funpeak's summer activities differ from a typical summer camp?

We emphasize "immersive outdoor experiences," combining nature exploration, physical challenges, and teamwork, allowing children to learn independence and problem-solving skills in a classroom without walls.

我需如何預訂 How do I book?

All bookings must be made online. This process ensures we accurately collect all necessary information. All payments must be completed online; we do not accept same-day payments,

Can children who don't know how to swim, or aren't very good at it, participate?

Rest assured, absolutely! We require all participants to wear life jackets during water activities where the water depth exceeds knee level. Professional coaches will accompany the group at a 1:8 ratio throughout the entire activity to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time! If a child truly doesn't want to participate in a particular activity, please don't worry. We adhere to the principle of encouragement, not compulsion, and no staff member will force students to participate in activities that make them uncomfortable.

How do you ensure safety during the event?

Safety is our top priority. All instructors hold professional certifications (such as lifeguarding, first aid, or climbing qualifications), the coach-to-student ratio is strictly maintained at 1:8 or less, and contingency plans are implemented based on weather changes.

What are the qualifications of the导师团队?

Our team consists of experienced outdoor education specialists who not only possess technical skills but are also adept at igniting children's curiosity and leadership.

Will the Shan Hai Experience Summer Camp provide food?

This depends on the type of activity you are participating in. Details are as follows:

  • 4-night, 5-day; 2-night, 3-day; or 1-night, 2-day camp:

We provide meals starting with dinner on the first day, offering three balanced meals. If participants have any food allergies, please make sure to indicate them on the registration form.

  • Single-day camp:

Meals are not provided for this activity. Participants need to bring their own lunch and snacks. We recommend preparing sandwiches, rice balls, energy bars, and sufficient drinking water.

Can my child be in the same group as his friends or siblings?

We will primarily group children by age. If you have any special grouping requests, please indicate them on the online registration form. If you are registering with multiple friends or siblings, please list the person you most wish to be grouped with at the top of the list. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but please understand that due to the need to balance overall activity quality and age appropriateness, we may not always be able to fully satisfy all requests.

Can children bring mobile phones and other smart devices?

To help children focus more on activities, we will centrally manage their mobile phones. Every evening, a fixed time slot will be arranged for children to use their phones to contact family. For the rest of the time, the camp will keep the phones to help children stay focused on activities and enjoy time with their peers.

Will photos be taken during the event?

We will share photos taken during the event via Google Drive after the event, making it easy for you to access the wonderful moments of your children. However, our top priority is to ensure that every participant has a safe, enjoyable, and fulfilling experience. Our team will do their best to capture moments during the event when appropriate, so photography capabilities may sometimes be limited. Nevertheless, we will still try to take as many photos as possible to share your children's unforgettable memories with you.

What happens if the weather is bad (e.g., black rainstorm or typhoon) on the day of the event?

If the trip cannot proceed due to weather conditions, we will arrange make-up classes or refunds according to our guidelines. For specific terms, please refer to the registration handbook or consult our on-site staff.

Can parents accompany or watch from the side?

To foster children's independence, most courses recommend children participate independently. However, we also have a specially designed "Parent-Child Integrated Camp" where parents are welcome to explore nature with their children!

What professional equipment do I need to bring for the event?

Most professional equipment (e.g., life vests, tents, gear) is provided by Funpeak. Participants only need to wear appropriate sportswear and athletic shoes, and bring sun protection.
